Early Career
Katherine began her career managing public relations initiatives for non-profits. After securing media placements on 20/20, The New York Times, ABC News, and The Washington Post, Katherine began leveraging digital marketing to further the readership and encourage action. Her work for Americans for Immigrant Justice resulted in a 500% increase in donations for their annual campaign.
As consultant director for digital and branding at Schwartz Media Strategies, Katherine developed successful digital marketing campaigns for the City of Miami’s Miami Forever General Obligation Bond, the CocoWalk and Sunset Place redevelopment projects, and Miami WorldCenter.
Most Recently
Katherine developed the digital strategy and launched the social media accounts for David Beckham’s soccer team and stadium, Inter Miami Club de Futbol.
Under Katherine’s direction, INGAGE’s past and current client roster includes Barry University, The Florida Bar, Urban Land Institute, Kraft Foods, Coca Cola, Mondelez, Procter and Gamble, Oxygen Development, Miami Beckham United, Miami Downtown Development Authority, Pipeline Workspaces, and the Pinecrest Business Association.
Recognitions
She was recognized by Ford and Lincoln Motor Companies for her extensive work in the community and leadership example and received the “Mujeres Legendarias” and “Damas de Lincoln” awards.
Katherine’s insights into social media trends have been published in NBC Latino, The Miami Herald, South Florida Business Journal, Bulldog Reporter, O’Dwyers, and Customized Delivery and Logistics Association (CLDA) quarterly publication.
Organizations She's Part of and Supports
Katherine serves as Vice President of BNI’s largest Miami-Dade chapter and is a Pinecrest Business Association board member. She is also a member of the Miami Downtown Development Authority’s Arts Grants Committee and the Perez Art Museum’s Corporate Cocktail Committee. Katherine is a Girl Scout Troop Leader for two troops based in the North Miami area and the secretary of the local service unit.
